The Perfect Major for the Outdoors-y Type

by College Prowler

Are you the type of student who would rather spend your days outside than in a classroom? Want to learn from your surroundings rather than a textbook? You may be in luck. Northwest College in Wyoming is now offering “Outdoor Education” as a major. And no, that does not mean “glorified gym class” either.

You can earn an Associates Degree of Applies Science or an Associate of Science in Outdoor Education with the option to transfer to a four-year university too. You’ll focus on technical skills, leadership, and career options.

So what can you do with a degree like that? Read College Prowler’s article here for more info about this adventurous major and the career opportunities that can come along with it.
