Volunteering, working, visiting old friends, reading, participating in an advanced summer program…sheesh! Our Faves this week are definitely utilizing their summer vacation time to the max. Check out these ambitious students and what’s making them happy this summer. (They may even spark an idea for your own plans!)
Recent high school honors grad, Ma’ Shiya, says furthering her education is her number one goal and is proving it on her GoEnounce page. With plans to head to West Chester University in the fall she has now been accepted to an advanced summer program to get a jump-start on her college education. Looks like all the other freshmen at Westchester better catch up!
Valedictorian of her high school, Quynh-Tram, believes it’s important to pick a career where she can look forward to every day. For her, it looks like becoming an architect/interior designer is her path to a happy life! She’s spending her summer reminiscing about her high school days, hopping on a bus to visit an old friend and going through a summer reading list. What a great way to unwind and gear up for the start of college!
High school grad, Gisela, is heading to Texas A&M this upcoming fall and will be the first of her family to attend college. Putting herself through school, Gisela is working two jobs this summer because nothing is going to stop her from paying her tuition. Her dream is to become a veterinarian, so instead of relaxing at the beach on her days off, she volunteers at the local animal shelter. WOW!
Happy “ennouncing”!
