Branden Pearson is an ambitious rising sophomore at Oasis High School. With future plans to attend Stanford University or MIT, Branden is already working hard towards that goal by learning programming languages and getting involved in JROTC, where he holds the rank of sergeant, Model United Nations, and Key Club. He hopes to combine his interests in economics and technology to start his own company that focuses on the implications of technology in the world of economics. Keep up the great work, Branden!
Incoming senior and honor student at Oasis High School, Analynn Stauffer, aims to attend law school. While law school may still be years away, Analynn has tirelessly begun to prepare for her first big step after graduating from high school in a year: attend the University of Central Florida and major in criminal justice. Her 4.3 GPA is made all the more impressive by the fact that she’s also the captain of the Dance Club, a varsity athlete on the volleyball team, Treasurer of the National Honor Society, and an active member of the Key Club. This summer, she will intern for her church while continuing her volunteering for the homeless and JROTC. Well done, Analynn!
Our next Fave of the Week is also a rising senior. Britney Fehribach from Palmdale High School has dreams of combining her love for chemistry and fashion to become a cosmetic chemist. When she’s not dabbling in either, Britney fills her days to the brim by studying for 5 AP/Honors classes, leading the varsity cross country, cheerleading, and tracks teams, and being an active member in the Avid Club, College Club, 5K Club, AP Club, and Photo Club, where she is President. But that’s not all! Britney volunteers for a church every Sunday assisting 5-year olds and at the fair grounds during the Antelope Valley Fair. On her Student Page, Britney shares an essay she wrote for an AP class, as well as updates on her favorite subject, chemistry, and her life as a cross-country runner. Keep it up, Britney!
Happy “ennouncing”!
