How To Spend Winter Break

Yes, christmas break is a time to relax, enjoy the company of friends and family, and just de-stress but we also want to help you get ahead!

This might not seem like something you want to do during your break but not only will it make you feel good, it could also help you figure out a future career path. Getting set up at a police agency, finance company or even an animal shelter will allow you to make connections with professionals while helping you realize what you actually like to spend your time doing.

Reading is a wonderful avenue to help you escape to a different world and keep your brain sharp!  Try out a book by a popular author, such as Harper Lee with Go Set a Watchman or a thriller like The Girl on a Train by Paula Hawkins. This will be a great way to relax, while still doing something productive!

Exercise will help you feel healthy and confident heading into the New Year!  Even if the weather’s getting colder where you live, there are indoor options to exercise.  Try out a simple yoga routine to de-stress or use a milk carton as a weight to tone up. For those of you lucky enough to spend the winter months somewhere warm, take advantage with a run in the neighborhood or a game of tennis in the park!

Whatever it is, remember, these people will always be there for you, so make time for them too!
