E-nnouncing Our May Scholarship Winner!

Our “GoEnnounce Yourself” Scholarship awards one student $500 each month! This award goes to a student who’s doing a great job showcasing who he/she is by sharing school related ‘ennouncement’ updates with Followers on his/her GoEnnounce Student Page. We’re thrilled to “ennounce” May’s winner…the focused and all around achiever Valeria Ayala!

As a senior at Ventura Academy, Valeria has big plans for her educational future! She plans to go to school and earn her PhD in pharmacy so that after she graduated college she can help people in need. Helping others is a passion for Valeria, and she has found a career that helps her do just that!

To help her get to her ultimate goal Valeria has immersed herself in activities related to medicine. She is a part of HOSA which stands for Health Occupations Students of America which is an association her current high school offers and in this program she has been a treasurer and now has worked her way up to becoming the activites director! Valeria has started interning at hospitals already, assisting nurses and patients! She has also assisted nutritionists at San Joaquin Public Health Services where she also volunteers!

Recently Valeria has been getting a lot of awards and achievements, which she has been posting on her GoEnnouce Student Page! One of these achievements include “The Record’s 2014 All County Distinguished Student Pinnacle Awards Team”! She posted her acceptance/congratulations letter on her student page so if you are interested to find out exactly what this young achiever has accomplished so far, go visit her student page here! We promise you’ll be impressed!
