E-nnouncing our July Scholarship Winner!

Our “GoEnnounce Yourself” Scholarship awards one student $500 each month! This award goes to a student who’s doing a great job showcasing who he/she is by sharing school related “ennouncement” updates with Followers on their GoEnnounce Student Page. We’re thrilled to “ennounce” July’s winner…the focused, philanthropic, and all around go-getter Branden Pearson!

As a sophomore at Oasis High School, Branden is involved in many school related clubs and activities. He is a member of Model United Nations, Key Club, JROTC, Drill, JLAB, Marksmanship, Exhibition, Honor Guard, and National Society of High School Scholars. If all that wasn’t enough in his spare time he is a member of the Make-A-Wish Youth Leadership Committee!

Though he is not sure where he wants to go to college, something he is sure about is his passion and dedication to computers and technology. To help him get there, Branden has not only joined many clubs, kept his GPA up (currently at 4.0), acing AP exams (he just “ennounced” his AP History score), but he is also very passionate about volunteering. Just in July he showcased his efforts at a bake sale and car wash with his Model United Nations club, hours spent at a local food shelter with Key Club, efforts planting 20 trees around his high school campus with his Environmental Club, and how he became an American Red Cross Youth Volunteer. Check out his Student Page here to learn he deserves our July scholarship award!
