Halle Cherry is a junior at Harcum College studying veterinary technology. She is a hardworking and energetic student who’s always makes it a point to get to know her professors.  Halle’s main goal after college is to become a veterinary technician at the Philadelphia Zoo. She plans on enrolling in the animal care and veterinary technology internship opportunities there, which will not only help her graduate from her program, but will also help her make connections with people in her field.

Besides getting near perfect scores on most of her quizzes and assignments this month, Halle has experienced some serious hands on veterinary training! She learned the proper way to restrain snakes and birds, how to scrub in for surgery, and she preformed her first teeth cleaning on a dog.  In the midst of all that, she still made time to show her school spirit, participating in “Impact Week”.  She’s definitely on her way to achieve her goal of becoming a certified vet technician in 2015.  Way to go, Halle!
