Abroad101 Student of the Week #0100- Alaina Hill

Congratulations, Alaina Hill, for being selected as our 100th Abroad101 Student of the Week! Alaina Hill is currently a sophomore at George Fox University, a Christian university in Newberg, Oregon. She is majoring in interior design and along with her major, she is also doing a minor in entrepreneurship and project management. Since she was a kid she was always fascinated by art and as years went by, her love for art kept increasing. That’s what lead her into the study of interior design. Apart from art, she always wanted to experience new culture, open her mind to new ideas, values, and discover the lifestyle of people from another country. That’s what motivated her decision to study abroad in Italy, in the well known city of Rome, in the Spring of 2017.

As you can imagine, this study abroad program in Rome is an amazing opportunity for Alaina. She is beyond excited to fulfill her dream in only a couple months from now, and to discover the art and the culture of the capital of Italy, Rome. There, she will be attending a Christian based program at a local university, and she will have the chance to work with several different missions programs. She hopes to be able to see and to visit as much as she can while she’s there and she’s looking for some financial support to help her make the most out of her experience. We wish Alaina all the best for her trip and unlimited success in the future.
