Abroad101 Student of the Week #0066 – Phoebe Drenckpohl

Screen Shot 2015-11-09 at 4.48.08 PMA big congrats to our Abroad101 Student of the Week, Phoebe Drenckpohl. Phoebe is a junior at University of Colorado – Denver. As anthropology major, who is also minoring in ethnic studies, Phoebe has been on the Dean’s List for the past three semesters! After finishing her bachelor’s degree, Phoebe already has plans to pursue a masters and PhD in anthropology. To date Phoebe has scored an archeology internship and worked as a tour guide at the Colorado State Capitol, so we are confident in her drive to accomplish her goals!

Phoebe has always dreamt of traveling the world, so it’s no wonder that studying abroad is another opportunity that has come her way! She will be spending the spring 2016 semester studying at Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany.  As a student that appreciates nature, we have no doubt she will enjoy the beauty of Europe while she immerses herself into another culture. You can check out Phoebe’s Mission here.

The Abroad101 Student of the Week initiative awards a student who created a Mission for a study abroad program on GoEnnounce with a donation to their fundraiser. Learn more about this partnership from Abroad101 CEO Mark Shay and GoEnnounce co-founder Melissa Davis here.

Stay tuned for our next Abroad101 Student of the Week!

Happy e-nnouncing!
