Abroad101 Student of the Week #0111 – Dylan Huegerich

Congratulations to  our 111th Abroad101 Student of the Week winner, Dylan Huegerich! Dylan is currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. His second major is in Spanish and Latin American Studies. In addition to his double degree, he is also minoring in International Business. Dylan’s future plan is to do International Marketing, this field has always passionate him and he is very creative. However, he wants to add a social justice aspect to his job and he wants to make the world a better place to live in. To reach this goal, he would like to work with companies on marketing and business plans all over the world to create positive changes, like body positive campaigns for instance.

In order to graduate, Dylan is required to go Study Abroad. He chose to go to Spain, to do a part-time, month-long program in  Spain taking 6/7 credits at la Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao. He has wanted to travel for a very long time and he is very grateful to have this amazing opportunity because not only will he be able to graduate, but he’ll also be able to continuing his Business education and improving his Spanish language skills while learning more about the culture and the value that this country has to offer.

However, to study abroad can get pretty expensive, and even though Dylan has been saving as much as he could to study in Spain, the costs add up very high and he needs a bit of extra help, that is why he decided to start this fundraising Mission. He will use the money that he raises to cover the housing and living costs, as well as some of the tuition fees.

We wish Dylan all the best in Spain and hope that he will have a life changing experience there!
