We are so excited to e-nnounce this week’s Abroad101 Student of the Week, Carly Ball! Carly is currently a sophomore at Lewis-Clark State College. She is studying psychology with a minor in English. She plans for this academic path to lead her into missionary work. Carly is an ambitious, passionate, and adventurous student who has a great interest in immersing herself in unfamiliar cultures. Her interest in traveling around the world has led her to pursue a study abroad semester in Dublin, Ireland! Carly will be attending the University College Dublin to take classes within her psychology degree, and will be involved in the Christian Ministry on campus.

Carly hopes that this experience abroad will be just the start of many travel excursions that she will take part in throughout her lifetime. Any donations received will go directly to paying for her tuition at the University College Dublin, textbooks, and housing fees while living on campus. She has already managed to raise $840, but is hoping to reach her goal of $6,200. Any help she receives will be greatly appreciated, in fact, if 200 people donated just $31,she  would have the rest of her semester abroad payed for! To check out Carly’s Mission and donate to her cause, click here!

The Abroad101 Student of the Week initiative awards a student who created a Mission for a study abroad program on GoEnnounce with a donation to their fundraiser. Learn more about this partnership from Abroad101 CEO Mark Shay and GoEnnounce co-founder Melissa Davis here.
