4 Fundraising Tips for Fall

Although it’s still summer, you might be gearing up for some Fall activities—whether it’s soccer pre-season, a play with upcoming auditions, or a club with some dues you’ll have to pay for.

It’s never too early to start fundraising for these causes, so you can be prepared for the school season.  We’ve come up with five tips to get you started with GoEnnounce

1. Find out how much you’ll need.

Start making a list of the sports equipment, dues, fees, supplies, etc. for the upcoming season. Make some estimates that will give you a grand total for your fundraising goals.

2. Set a deadline.

Sometimes we need those deadlines so we stick to our goals! Set a date that you think is achievable and realistic, but in enough time so you’ll have the money you need.

3.Tell your story.

Find an interesting and compelling way to tell your family and friends about why you need the funds for your trip. The more personal, the better! Consider making a video to show your goals.

4. Be social.

This is the time it’s okay to spend hours on FB and Twitter! Make sure you update your friends and family via social media about how things are going and what you need. Sometimes people need a few reminders before they make a donation.

Good luck and Happy Fundraising!
