Abroad101 Student of the Week #0078 – Meghan Noyes

Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 2.20.05 PMA big congratulations goes out to our Abroad101 Student of the Week, Meghan Noyes! Meghan is a sophomore at Chapman University where she majoring in digital arts and also earning a minor in game development programming. Her future aspirations include working as a animator or a story board artist for an animation studio such as Pixar or Dreamworks. Her favorite subjects are digital arts and math and in her spare time she plays varsity soccer and is a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society. Another thing she enjoys is traveling and has plans to study abroad in Ireland her spring semester.

During her semester abroad at the University of Limerick, Ireland she will be studying European Cinema and computer science. Not only will she be taking courses prevalent to her major, she will also have the opportunity to travel to other countries, such as Germany, France, and Scotland. One reason Meghan is even more excited to travel to Ireland is because she has ancestors from there, so she will be gaining important knowledge about her own heritage! Her trip is approaching fast and she just needs a little more help with the expenses to get there. Check out her fundraising Mission here!

The Abroad101 Student of the Week initiative awards a student who created a Mission for a study abroad program on GoEnnounce with a donation to their fundraiser. Learn more about this partnership from Abroad101 CEO Mark Shay and GoEnnounce co-founder Melissa Davis here.
