Abroad 101 Student of the Week #0093- Alexis Vitta

Screen Shot 2016-05-26 at 1.05.45 PMWe are so excited to announce our next Abroad101 Student of the Week, Alexis Vitta! Alexis is currently a senior at Central Michigan University. She is studying Spanish, Legal Studies, and Family Studies. Alexis’ ambitions make her a stand-out student, as she plans to attend law school after her last year at Central Michigan to apply her passion for Spanish language and culture to the legal world. Her interest in Spanish culture and law has led her to pursue a career in International Law. Alexis hopes to use this study abroad opportunity to perfect and test her language skills and gain a strong sense of independence.

The study abroad program will take place in Chile through ISA (International Studies Abroad). She will be taking classes at the renowned Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile. She will be learning about the Spanish language as well as culture and civilization topics including art, film, literature, communications, history, and culture. She is especially looking forward to taking an advanced Chilean conversation course. Because this was such an exciting yet last minute opportunity for her, she would appreciate any help to reach her goal of $3,000, to fund the trip! To check out Alexa’s Mission and donate to her cause, click here!
